Concept 1MASTERThe 1MASTER concept implementation involves training at two (2) places. The theoretical training is at the institute / training center (covering 20% - 30% of the training period) and the practical training is conducted at the industry (covering 70% - 80% of the training period). Duration of the training is for 1 month or 2 months or 3 months only, depending on the Duty/ Competency Unit (CU) selected by the institute / training center.
Target GroupThe main focus is existing employees in the industry. However, participation is also open to graduates and unemployed youth at the discretion of the Department.
Advantages Of the ProgramAn allowance of RM300 per month will be given to each apprentice during the duration of the training period allowed.
Courses offeredPrograms that can be followed are based on the National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS). Interested applicants can check the 1MASTER Training Centers listed below to get information about program offerings.
Certification after the programThe apprentices will be awarded a Statement of Attainment (PC) for Duty/CU followed after completing the training successfully.
